Maths can now be done on the Full Buffer and Spectrum graph.

The Digital inputs and External trigger are now included in the calibration process.

A new set of device drivers have been written and programming examples for the Windows Visual Studio C++, C#, Borland Delphi and CBuilder, and NI Labview and Labwindows CVI environments. These are all available for download from the website.

On the hardware side we are offering an XS version to make it easy for purchasers – this is a fully specified CS328A with 8MSample of memory, 14 bit sampler and a signal generator.

The ethernet interface is now available. At present it requires a different version of firmware to be loaded but we are working on a new firmware that will detect which interface is fitted. However, if you need ethernet we have stock for immediate shipment. It does not need to be on the local LAN, you can now connect to a Cleverscope anywhere in the world to control and acquire data.

To see a unit in operation connect to a CS328A at one of our labs. Go to Settings | Choose acquirer and programme as shown here – (note that the port setting is important)

We have connected the Signal Generator to Channel A and the probe comp to Channel B. This unit will be available for you to connect to for at least a couple of weeks. To try it out, I suggest you set the Sig Gen to sweep a range of frequencies and log the results to your PC. You will need v4.631 for this.
