아래는 Cypress 에 사용되는 산업용/양산용 프로그래머 (모델:MPQ-PSoC)의 Power-on mode 미 Reset mode 의 차이점과 Power Cycle 정보입니다.


The only difference between Reset and Power-on modes is that Power-On mode requires that the programming cycle be initiated prior to applying power to the target. With Reset programming, power can be applied before or after initiating the programming cycle.

Note that we recommend using Reset mode whenever possible, as it is much more reliable. Power-On mode requires careful attention to details such as the rise time and monotonicity of the target power supply.

The step-by-step procedure you have outlined below will work for either Reset of Power-On. When using Power-On mode:

1) Ensure that the rise time (0% to 90% of Vdd) of the target power supply is < 1.0mS.
2) Ensure that the power supply voltage is monotonic. I.e., it rises smoothly from 0V to final voltage without any negative transitions.
